Cropping
On the Cropping tab, you can adjust which part of the image is shown. Hover over the image so that your cursor becomes a crosshair, and then drag the image into place. The highlighted area shows what will be displayed to participants.
Use the Image Zoom slider to zoom in or out, from 0% (completely zoomed out) to 100% (completely zoomed in). If you are using a low-quality image, note that zooming in too much may result in blurriness.
If you are editing the answer image in a Blank Screen's Choice Question element, you can also set the Crop Shape. Options include:
- Square
- Portrait
- Landscape
Filters
On the Filters tab, use the sliders to adjust the appearance of the image:
-
Saturation
Controls the color saturation of the image.
- Move the slider from -1% to -100% to de-saturate the image color. As you move to the left, the image becomes black and white.
- At 0%, the image retains its original color saturation level.
- Move the slider from 1% to 100% to increase color saturation. As you move to the right, the image becomes more saturated.
-
Brightness
Controls the brightness of the image.
- Move the slider from -1% to -100% to darken the image. As you move to the left, the image becomes darker until it is completely black.
- At 0%, the image retains its original brightness.
- Move the slider from 1% to 100% to brighten the image. Avoid over-brightening the image, which can make it appear overexposed and wash out finer details.
-
Blur Filter
Adds a soft focus/blurring effect to the image. Move the slider from 0px (completely unblurred) to 30px (completely blurred).
Accessibility
On the Accessibility tab, provide an Alt Text short description of the image so the image is accessible to participants who are using screen readers. If you do not provide alt text, the application uses the image name as alt text.
