Purge sensitive data from a Touchpoint activity

Purge all data that was flagged as sensitive from an activity.

Prerequisites:
  • The sensitive data flags were set for the appropriate screens.
  • The activity has collected live data.

Important: The sensitive data purge feature will purge all data marked as sensitive from the activity. If you want to delete or purge sensitive data for select participants while leaving the rest of your activity's sensitive data intact, you must contact Alida Technical Support or your Customer Success Manager.
  1. In the Activities list, click the options menu to the right of an activity listing.
  2. Click Purge Sensitive Data.
  3. When prompted, click Confirm.
    Result:

    The activity enters the sensitive data purge queue. Purge requests are processed at 11:59 PM local time wherever the pod server is located (NA1, NA2, EU1, EU2, or AP2). You can only make one purge request per day per activity.

    In the Activities list, a shield icon with a line through it appears next to the activity indicating that it is queued for data purge.

  4. To cancel a purge request, in the Activities list, click the options menu to the right of a queued activity and click Cancel Purge Sensitive Data.
    Result: The shield icon with a line through it disappears from the activity listing, indicating that the activity is no longer queued for sensitive data purge.
