Export results (activities)

Export activity data in a CSV file for analysis outside of the application, to view the email addresses collected through an Email Entry screen, or to view the verbatim responses collected through a Text Entry screen.

  1. On the Activities page, click the activity name.
Result: The activity opens and displays the Report page.
  2. In the top right corner, click Export Response Data.
  3. Follow your web browser's prompts to download and open the file.

Aside from response data, the CSV file contains the following columns:

Table 1. All activities
Column Description
Distribution Name The name of the distribution through which the response was collected.
Status The status of the response (Complete or Incomplete).
ActivityStart The start date and time.
ActivityCompleted The completion date and time.
Source The distribution type and the data source. Possible values include:
  • Public: The data came from a publicly available source, either through social media or the activity link being posted somewhere publicly available.
  • Website: The data came from the activity being shared on a website.
  • Mobile app: The data came from the activity being shared in a mobile app.
  • Hub: The data came from a member or stakeholder hub.
Device Type The device type the participant used (Mobile, Desktop, Tablet, or Other).
Browser The browser the participant used.
Table 2. NPS® activities only
Column Description
NPS®1 Segment The category for the response, based on the numeric NPS® value. Possible values include:
  • Detractor: Participants who rated something from 0 to 6, indicating they would not recommend it.
  • Passive: Participants who rated something from 7 to 8, indicating neutral feelings.
  • Promoter: Participants who rated something from 9 to 10, indicating they would recommend it.
Table 3. For Community customers using Touchpoint quick polls on member hubs
Column Description
Member ID The unique ID for the community member. Cross-reference this value with the MemberId value in Community to identify who answered the quick poll. This column only appears if the quick poll was distributed on a hub.

The CSV file also contains responses for each screen.

For older Single Choice question screens (created before November 2023), the screen name is the column header and the answer values are the column values.

Example: Older Single Choice question CSV data
"city lived in"
Toronto
Vancouver
Prague

For newer Single Choice question screens (created after November 2023), the CSV file displays data in the same way it does for Multiple Choice question screens. Each column header is a combination of the screen name and answer value. The column values are 0 (indicating the value was not selected) or 1 (indicating the value was selected).

Example: Newer Single Choice question CSV data
"city lived in_Toronto","city lived in_Vancouver","city lived in_Prague"
1,0,0
0,0,1

If one of the screens is an Email Entry, the corresponding column will contain all the email addresses that were collected.
